Decision support
Tools & Diagnostics
Short diagnostics for the moments when a clinical programme, board or investor needs to know whether the next decision is supported by evidence – or by assumptions that have not yet been tested.
What these tools are for. They help a team recognise a material gap early, frame the right questions and decide whether a deeper programme-specific review is warranted. They do not publish the full MB&P consulting method.
Start with the problem you can see
Trial Autopsy
A board-level diagnostic for negative or ambiguous clinical-trial results. Separate biological failure from design, execution and interpretability failure before the next capital decision.
Open diagnosticPivotal Architecture Decision Grid
Compare single-arm, randomised, hybrid and external-control pivotal architectures against causality, label, HTA, timeline, capital and execution risk.
Open diagnosticClinical Development Concept Completeness Check
A pre-protocol clinical development completeness check covering decision intent, population, endpoints, feasibility, statistics, regulatory strategy, execution and next value gate.
Open diagnosticCRO Underperformance & Trial Rescue
A sponsor-side decision framework for CRO underperformance, recruitment delay, governance failure and deciding between remediation, targeted replacement and a full CRO transition.
Open decision frameworkHow the toolkit connects to an engagement
Each diagnostic is linked to the relevant service, case evidence and publication stream. If a check exposes unresolved assumptions, the next step is not automatically a large consulting project. It is the smallest senior intervention capable of changing the decision: an independent review, a design comparison, a trial autopsy, a governance reset or a defined work package.
